Inclusive Ethos and Culture

Two factors that are particularly effective in contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture are:

1.     A Welcoming Environment

An environment where all are welcomed regardless of socio-economic background, beliefs, ability or culture. This would encourage parents to be more involved with any aspect of the school be it planning an event or even to be an assistant in the classroom for the day.

2.     Respect for all

Once there are respectful relationships be it administration to teacher, teacher to teacher and teacher to parent and student, everyone at the school would feel valued and therefore foster a sense of togetherness.
