Creating an Inclusive Ethos

Two factors that are effective in contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture are 

1. Observance of day highlighting different disability eg World Down Syndrome Day. This  will educate the learners that even though we are different, we are all special in our own way.

2. Parental involvement eg parents coming in to do activities such as reading stories, planting, cooking, playing games etc. This will aid in building self esteem in some students.
