The TESSA Toolkit provides a framework which can help guide and improve teacher's knowledge, attitude and behaviour as it relates to inclusion. It brings to the fore the student's individuality and the variety of needs associated with that student. The Toolkit incorporates factors that impact the learners ability to learn, and how the teacher has the power to positively or negatively utilize her influence as a role model to create and maintain an inclusive environment.

The teachers questionnaire/audit provides an opportunity for reflection of practice and purpose. It provides an avenue to identify one's strengths and weaknesses and to adjust/make improvements where necessary.
