Activity 4.2

Schools can work with families by using the tools that are readily available to them and also the families they are working with. For example, I work in a semi-rural community where there is a lack of devices and internet connectivity. Not every parent/family has the means to access technology for online learning especially during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore several strategies are used to reach all parents such as:

1. Online classes via radio station

2. Weekly activity packs available in the Newspaper

3. Virtual classes on the television

4. Communication via phone call, messages
