Behavior management strategies

Creating rules with the children is a great way to enforce positive behaviour. Children tend to follow rules and routines when there is a positive outcome. They expect a reward for good behaviour. This also creates peer learning and responsibility where children correct each other if one is not following the rules. Children with behavioral issues must be actively engaged and must be able to transition from activity to activity effortlessly. Songs and rhymes provide easy transitioning for these children.
