I sometimes get a student or two who was restless or have a behavioral problem. I had to always keep them close to me and try to make the lesson as fun, engaging, and exciting as to get their attention. I will also assign duties to them so they felt important because they were. I also rewarded them whenever they did well or showed even a little improvement. They eventually settled a bit but noted in their evaluation about their strength and weaknesses so when they move up to the other level, the teacher will have recorders about them and decided how to move forward to continue with their progress.
