4.10 Bringing it all together.

This course was very beneficial. Before I completed this course, I had mixed feelings however after completing this course I now understand, and I am anxious to try the things that I learnt. Making individual plans was very informative and all the tools shared like, Resource 1 and Resource 2 are useful and insightful. The videos were a bonus because it placed me in the classroom with the teacher and the children. This course showed me ways that I can foster change and create a classroom for all children while making them feel welcomed and know that they belong, I already question my children; however, this course expanded my knowledge on questioning. I learnt how effective peer teaching can be in creating an inclusive classroom and in fostering friendships and an appreciation and understanding of differences amongst children. I also learnt the importance of documenting and sharing information with other members of staff, planning, and assessing the data gathered and doing follow ups. Having a good relationship with parents, teachers, and the community and other stakeholders can help schools achieve their goals and be successful in creating inclusivity.
