Activity 3:5 Learning Study

What needs to be in place to enable teachers to take part in ‘learning study’? 

For teachers to take part in a learning  study the following must be in place to enable teachers to participate:

  • teachers must be supported
  • It must meet their need
  • there must be agreement and commitment
  • an open line of communication
  • there must be respect for their knowledge of and for the practice.
  • there must be continuity.
  • there must be opportunity for follow ups

 How could Learning study be used to develop inclusive teachers.?

  • Learning study can bring teachers together.
  • change their views and attitudes about  learners with disabilities.
  •  encourage communication and collaboration 
  • encourage teachers to share their experiences.
  • help the teachers to have a re-generated view on teaching inclusively.
  • encourage teachers to team up
