Professional development is an important element of a teacher's ongoing educational journey. I have tremendously benefitted from engaging in Professional development courses and workshops. Teaching in the 21st Century proved to be a very insightful course since the concepts created an awareness of utilizing simple materials to create resources that would allow every child to develop numerous skills (STREAM). This modern approach to teaching capitalizes on different learning styles and provides hands on learning experiences.
