Include opportunities for children to have a meal and to time to rest
The social and emotional needs and state of a person can determine how much they can settle/ behave attentively in the classroom learn and progress.
Abraham Maslow explained in his theory that tells about the Hierarchy of Needs. He stated that humans have different needs and in order for a child's safety and security these needs must be meet. These needs are the core of what is needed to function as a human.
The needs are tiered in the following way :
Physiological needs. food, clothing, water, rest.
Safety needs -a home ,a place to feel safe.
Love and belonging , Esteem Needs.
Then there would be self actualization, realizing that they are able to work and achieve.
Each part of the tiered builds on the other therefore children's needs must be meet ,beginning with the psychological(the need for food ,water and rest. Therefore when organizing for students inclusively all psychological needs must be investigated.
