Monitoring Inclusive Schools

While I never had the opportunity to really be a part of a fully inclusive school. I have a dear friend who works at an ECCE centre where a handful of the children who attended the school were special needs.

Her boast of staff support, teamed with parent involvement, she says really makes a huge difference. She stress that dialogue between doctor and therapist is of utmost importance as they work hand in hand to enhance learning for these special children in the mainstream classroom.

During their planning they document their plans, their accomplishments, what strategies worked and what didn't also what is needed for further success. And they work as a team to bring about change.

Monitoring Inclusive School are very important to their success and development and every school must seek to become an Inclusive one.
