There are numerous ways by which this course would improve my practice as a Special Educator, however I will make mention of two of them. Firstly, building stronger relationships with parents and local businesses in an effort to overcome some of the challenges we face daily. There would be on open door policy for these relevant stakeholders so that they can have a first-hand look at the operations and observe some of the barriers we are faced with. This will bring an opportunity for stakeholders to assist and support us in any way possible. If they are welcomed and feel a sense of belonging it will give us a better chance of them pledging their support to the school.

Secondly, we would strive to the best of our abilities as Special Educators to broaden our horizon and include extra curricula activities to cater for diverse needs, talents interests and learning styles.
