1. What is your reaction to what you have
heard? Is there anything you would add if asked the same question?
The highlight some things that you may not take into
consideration when working with other teachers.
2. Daniel highlights a number of what he calls
‘soft skills’. What do you understand by ‘soft skills’?
The main thing is the attitude of the teacher and
administration to how willing they are to help or meet the needs of the child.
3. How does a school that you know make
positive attitudes to inclusive education obvious to all those connected to the
school?
In my school, the teachers try to plan their lessons to
ensure that all students learning abilities are taken into consideration.
4. Lydia
suggests that an inclusive school will have a resource centre. Apart from the
obvious provision of resources to support teaching, what other purpose does she
suggest that it might serve? How does a school that you know meet the needs of
students in this respect?
Help improve the self-esteem of the students so that they
would have the hunger to learn and better themselves. Teachers plan games and
give rewards to help them increase their drive for learning.
