Activity 2.7 Positive behaviour management strategies

In my experience, when a teacher and his/her students formulate classroom rules together, children are more inclined to adhere to the rules.
The teacher and children will go over the rules each day and this measure is very effective as positive behaviour is maintained throughout the day. If a child shows some form of misbehaviour, then the child is reminded of the rules. If the behaviour seems unusual, the teacher can follow up on it by finding out the reason for the 'misbehaviour' in order to deal with the situation.
