In the school that I am familiar with we teach our lessons through themes and projects .Parents are encouraged to share their skills with the school in the following way:

Gardeners .gardeners  can come into the school and help the children to get a practical experience in gardening.

Craft -parents  create resources  for learning .There is also a special time where parents are encouraged to create materials according to the theme or project for display.

During the carnival season parents are encouraged create costumes and visit the school at a scheduled time to view a parade of the costumes.

We also encourage hen there are special holiday celebration parents are encouraged to do cookery activities with the children -e.g. Divali -make parasad, Eid -make sawine. Christmas make pastel or Christmas cookies.

these a activities helps the children to understand diversity ,inclusion and equality. It also and shows them that they too belong to the class.it gives them a sense of belonging.

there is no difference when it is celebration time.
