Teachers need to be willing, cooperative, interested, professional, respectful and open to change to enable teachers to take part in ‘learning study’. There should also there need to be an ideal location that is comfortable for all teachers, where they can gather to take part in learning study. Most of all those Administrators/Principals and head teachers most motivate and encourage their teachers to work together by leading by example.
It is generally believed that effective learning depends on the availability of an authentic learning environment which facilitates the learning process, and this has been an important aspect in education. Therefore learning study can be used to develop inclusive teachers by allowing them to see their short comings or where they need to make improvements. LS will give teachers the opportunity to actually put into practice, what they have learnt from others in their collaborative and reflective sessions.
