In Trinbago, we have Police Youth Clubs which act as a safe space for after school activities for students. In order to convince this local stakeholder and the school to link with each other, evidence showing that both stakeholders want the same thing and are serving the same catchment area is used to convince them to work together. As said, it takes a village to raise a child. The benefits of creating relationships outside of the school with stakeholders can sometimes be challenging, as they can sometimes disappoint by not holding up their end of the bargain. However, the benefits of a successful pairing far exceeds the minor challenges.
