Activity 1.2

Two important features of an inclusive school are:

1.      The attitude of the teaching staff. Positive attitudes of teachers create the atmosphere to allow for inclusive behaviours and responses. The children also feed off of the attitudes of teachers and tend to display similar attitudes, hence the need for positive attitudes at all times.

2.      Resources, resources, resources. There must be quality and adequate resources available for all learners, not only learning tools and materials but environment resources that display an awareness of inclusive practices.
