Activity 3.3 being an inclusive teacher.

Consider how you might support teachers in developing the different types of knowledge
To support teachers in developing the different types of knowledge I would:  Involve them in short professional development training and ensure what was learned is implemented with levels of supervision/assistance.
 Have regular SBT to find out from teachers areas that are challenging to them and provide solutions. Example team teaching
 Regular examination of their records example observation, lesson plans etc.

I agree with Lopez that as a trainer of teachers support is very important. I am equally a trainer of teachers hence my  focus would on the three  areas of knowledge that is, knowledge for practice, in  practice and of practice with regard to teacher attitude. As learnt earlier an inclusive teacher is such a one that ought to have a positive outlook towards what they do . Such a teacher is therefore to  embraces all learners without discrimination, appreciate and empathize with  especially  children with special needs that they would  meet in schools. Right at the training level this positivity ought to be cultivated how? 1.I would provide knowledge (for practice)about the diverse areas of special needs that exist. 2. train then on how to adapt their lesson planning and teaching such learners should they encounter them at school without discrimination but love (in practice) and 3.guide them on how to handle certain special cases by exposing them (teacher trainees) to micro teaching sessions(knowledge of practice).
