This course opened my eyes to the numerous possibilities to foster inclusion even more in my school environment. This wealth of information has left me more educated and informed and has even altered my personal philosophy of inclusion.
The Tessa Toolkit resonated with me. This Toolkit opened my eyes even more to the fact that with proper planning and a holistic, positive attitude, we can theoretically and practically reach and teach any student with any challenges.
I will definitely be advocating for the use of the Grimes monitoring inclusivity tool to redefine our school policies. Also, I plan to be become more actively involved in educating and working with our external stakeholders to take our school forward.
