2.2

At one school I know. Children’s progress is monitor, share information, and review of children’ s needs are done by having regular meeting every Friday evening.  At these meeting each teacher gives a verbal report of what they observed on each child in her group. Children’s needs are identified, and everyone come together to create strategies to support what were identified. If there is an emergence and it called for a quick response, teachers will meet during the children’s rest time work on the problem. Teachers also disscuss other administrative matters and plans for the next week activities.

Monitoring at this school is not only leave to one person, but everyone takes on that responsibility because during that day each will interface with all the teacher in the school at some point, observations are written by the teacher and given to each group teacher at the end of the day, or sometime verbally according to what is observed.

Policies for an inclusive ethos and culture

In all our Government  Primary inclusion ethos and culture is expected to be practice in the school

environment .I strongly believe all that is mentioned in 2.1 Key factors of establishing a strong inclusive ethos needs to be taken more seriously by the Head teachers and their staff in the schools

Currently we do have Staff meeting every Friday in the morning(9-11am) for Head teacher and their staff .I strongly believe these staff meetings should more effective by staff sharing more of their teaching ideas to each other about students needs. Moreover in these staff meetings the  needs of the should be discussed  more  discussed openly by sharing new strategies with other staff members.

I also believe that the Parents  or caregivers should be more involved and engaged in the child's learning process. Parents should be encouraged more and felt more welcome to discuss needs about their child's learning. Therefore the strong leadership of the head teacher and more positive mind set should be encouraged in the school environment with the good bond and relationship with parents and community will surely make a more stronger inclusive ethos and culture with the school environment
