One example of transport policy co-creation in Iran is the involvement of citizens in urban transport planning, particularly through public feedback, surveys and discussions about public transportation and traffic management.
I think the process could be improved by adding data visualisation. For example, interactive maps and dashboards could show traffic congestion, public transport accessibility, accident locations and citizens’ feedback. This would make the available information easier to understand for both decision-makers and the public.
Visualisations could also help different stakeholders discuss the same evidence and identify problem areas together, making the co-creation process more transparent and participatory.
