Having perfected the bar steps, dancers move on to learn the next 12 steps including hands. These steps are also accompanied by standardised verses, each followed by its own embellishment of Kasthirama. 

The most important feature in Goda Haramba is the coordination of hands, feet, eyes head and body - known as Pancha Anga as a collective - in the rhythmic movement.
