Extra support for students with children or adult dependants

If you have children or adult dependants, then you may be entitled to apply for one or some of the following:

• Childcare grant
• Parents’ Learning Allowance
• Adult Dependants’ Grants

As they are all grants, none of the above have to be paid back.

These grants are designed to provide extra support to students who are studying whilst also juggling other commitments. You can apply online using the links above and following the instructions, but you will need to provide evidence of your circumstances and that you meet the eligibility criteria.
