3 Summary of Session 3

In this session you have explored some of the different care and protection needs met by social care professionals.

This session also introduced you to concepts such as equality, diversity and discrimination, which are included in social care and social work codes of practice for each nation of the UK.

Session 4 will explore why it is important for social care professionals to know about the law and the ways that this relates to their practice.
