- refers to shared values, beliefs and assumptions that shape how people behave and interact within an organisation.
- cultural competence
- refers to a person’s ability to interact and develop relations with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- inequitable
- means unfair, biased and discriminatory practice. The strive for fairness and equality may sometimes result in inequitably if group dynamics and differences are ignored. word doesn’t appear in the text
- anti-racist consciousness
- means being actively conscious about ‘race’ and racism and taking action to end racial inequities in our daily lives.
