Week 4: Public trust and forensic science
Introduction
This week, we will explore the research findings that underpin this course. Specifically, we will examine how different groups of people, including those who have and have not interacted with the Criminal Justice System (CJS), e.g., as victims or suspects, perceive trust in forensic science. We will also look at the drivers of trust and distrust and their impact on criminal investigations and outcomes.
