Conclusion

This free course, Introducing research in law and beyond, has been designed to provide some guidance on how to prepare and start a research project. It has talked about the importance of thinking about the suitability of a research project, and the importance, and role, of a literature review. Throughout the research process it is important to continually review and reflect, to analyse results, and to interrogate sources of information. One of the most challenging aspects of research however is knowing when enough information has been gathered, and when to move onto the next stage of writing up.
