How might it feel

I think if I was diagnosed with MND, my first concern would be for my family and how they are going to cope. Not only with having to watch me deteriorate but with my inevitable death and beyond. Having my husband and our children watch me slowly die before their eyes would be utterly heartbreaking for me. Especially loosing speech and not being able to tell them how much I love them. I would have my own coping mechanism for myself to deal with the news – this would involve much internal work such as meditation and connecting with “higher-self”. I would also begin researching into alternative therapies and treatments, such as sound healing and natural remedies etc.
