Introduction

Hi All

I am a policy professional at the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) which works across Great Britain to support the construction industry to have a skilled, competent and inclusive workforce, now and in the future.

The purpose of my particular role is to to effectively engage the Scottish Government in order to:

• Gather input into CITB’s evidence base and inform CITB’s strategy and policy development and implementation.

• Deliver CITB’s partnership objectives with government, developing evidence-led policy and using this to effectively engage on the construction Industry’s skills needs at a national and local level.

CITG regularly produces and analyses large volumes of data, however, finds visualising this or telling the story in a compelling way.
