Pre-registration

I think pre-registration is an amazing tool that can help researchers to have credit in so many occasions. For instances, when applying to prestigious journals, the timing to get published is sometimes more than a year. In the meanwhile, other researchers can publish something similar in lower impact journals. Having the pre-registration, would guaranty the credit.
