In Veterinary Pathology, we often come across really interesting single cases of rare or never reported diseases. Publishing these findings is important as other people in the field may be unaware of certain diseases or how these can present. However getting single cases published is really difficult. Most journals want case series rather than single case reports. I think we could be really missing out by not publishing these - maybe preprint is the answer...
