Adobe Illustrator Query

I've managed to upload the invite templates but it wont let me choose one to work on - any ideas anyone?

I've now worked out how to make it editable and work on one at a time; however although it is supposed to be a card it doesn't seem to differentiate one side to the other so you can quite easily go over to the other side when working. 

Also I'm a little confused re what 'slices' are and the 'snap to grid' feature, if anyone knows?

I think slices are for designing for the web. I've never used them!

Hi Amanda, I'm glad you managed to get that sorted. 

Slices are used when creating webpages so that different elements of the art work can be handled in different ways which most fits with what is best for that element.
