Welcome! I am Dr Kris Stutchbury, the lead author on this course, with my colleagues Dr Helen Hendry and Dr Deborah Cooper. We are grateful to colleagues from Jamaica, KISE, Kenyatta University, Kenya and Gulu University, Uganda for their help and input, and to Gareth Dart for his expertise and help.

I was a Secondary Science teacher for 20 years, and teacher educator for 10 years. I am currently Senior Lecturer in International Teacher Education and Academic Director of TESSA, and ZEST. I also work on OpenSTEM Africa. I live near Cambridge in the UK. I am looking forward to working with you on this course, and on the next one 'Creating an Inclusive School', which starts on 1st April.

You will be joined on the forums by a team of facilitators. They will also be introducing themselves here, so look out for them. Their role is to answer questions and to ask questions to stimulate discussion.
