I am a matured student and I entered the university in 2014 after working in the primary schools for 17 years in the remote islands without accessing to computer. The first day I attended the computer lab in the university, the librarian (teacher) started explaining how to use eLearning in the computer and I asked the next person to help me. It was a guy from the Solomon Island. As we continued on, the librarian gave more excited activities and everyone was busy competing to complete all activities given including the Solomon guy who helped me. I raised up my hands asking the librarian to help me and she did. The third time I raised my hands up, the librarian didn't come. Definitely I felt excluded in that time thinking that the teacher didn't like me because of being a slow learner. I thought that I wasn't good enough to be at the university level. At the same time, I felt ashamed because my colleagues were smart in doing computer while I wasn't. After the class, the teacher interviewed me then she directed me to the Faculty of Science. She requested a Fijian mentor to assist me within one month. After two weeks I have learnt a lot and more skills gained. I started to participate during discussion and felt energized when I read the notes and practice more before class.
