Feeling Excluded

One time I remembered feeling excluded was at high school. The date to write my History regional exam was appeoaching. The teacher needed to complete a section of the curriculum so he called class on a Saturday to do so. I made sure to inform him that I worship in Saturday so I won't be available. He said to me you will have to make up on your own or ask a classmate when you meet again.

I remember feeling excluded from meetings where the global medium of communication is not established.

In teaching and learning, I felt excluded if teachers or facilitators have joked or made comments in local language which I was not familiar of or have held discussions in their own local languages

I remember being excluded in the midst of people who were speaking the language i could not apprehend.

I felt excluded when I was in my final form of education whenever we went to a girls school for ballroom dance.  Most of the time I would not be picked by girls when it was their turn to do so - not because of my looks because I was fair looking, nor did I not know how to dance because I was better than most of my peers,  nor was I physically challenged because I was  still and I am still able bodied person - but for reasons best known to themselves.

So I feel people may be excluded by circumstances which are not implied to them.
