Personal reflection on learner-centred education

By and large, most of my education was not learner-centered because:-

-there were few cases of group work,

-individualized planned works were very rare,

-collaborative works/activities were few in occurrence,

-mostly teachers poured out knowledge to learners,

-all assessments were norm-based,

-all assessments were group/class assessments,

-teaching methods employed were teacher-centred,

-only field works, and workshop/laboratory practicals were learner-centred.

Hence, in my view we were externally motivated to learn.
