I arrange the narratives in the following order:-
- That everyone learns more effectively when lessons build on their capacities and interests, and are based on problem- solving and application;
- The need for learners to develop '21st century skills' for life in the knowledge economy;
- Learner-centered approaches free learners from teacher authoritarianism and from strict curricula that do not reflect their personal needs
- .Reasons for my choice of this arrangement are that; effective learning can be fostered when learners capacities and interests are recognized initially, and ensure lessons are based on problem-solving and application to real life situations; the development of 21st Century skills for life in the knowledge economy, can be ensured if teaching and learning are tailored on learners capacities and interests; and learner-centred approaches can attain their purposes if all educators embrace cognition narrative, and preparation narratives, in that order.
