WEEK 2 Activity 2.5 Justification for LCE as Policy choice.

I arrange the narratives in the following order:-

  1. That everyone learns more effectively when lessons build on their capacities and interests, and are based on problem- solving and application;
  2. The need for learners to develop '21st century skills' for life in the knowledge economy;
  3. Learner-centered approaches free learners from teacher authoritarianism and from strict curricula that do not reflect their personal needs
  4. .Reasons for my choice of this arrangement are that; effective learning can be fostered when learners capacities and interests are recognized initially, and ensure lessons are based on problem-solving and application to real life situations; the development of 21st Century skills for life in the knowledge economy, can be ensured if teaching and learning are tailored on learners capacities and interests; and learner-centred approaches can attain their purposes if all educators embrace cognition narrative, and preparation narratives, in that order.

This is effective even at the early childhood level also.i agree with these statements
