I think that the role of the teacher in supporting the changes is by first noting when theres a girl in the classroom who is expectant and supporting them accordingly, communicating with other teachers to assist in supporting and encouraging the girl who is expectant or with a child and even talking to her parents to enourage them to support her education and encourage her as she continue to study. The teacher can also make a follow up on the child from time to time to ensure that there are able to continue with their education even after giving birth and being a source of encoutagement. The teacher can also ensure that she is sensitive even when teaching, can allow the student to have meals when in school without having to stand on long queues , encourage other children to support in helping to ensure the learner is comfortable to continue her education.
the resources required are in monetory form, counselling , creating awareness in the community and to teachers on inclusive education. Other ways of supporting the community is having accessible and quality medical suport in the communities for the girls when they need to deliver their children and reproductive education for the girls , boys and the community at large.
policy makers have a role in creating awareness, following up to ensure that there is suport and implementation on the same. Policy makers can also include the community while making the policies so that the community feel like a part of the programme and therefore improve on their participation and owning the process of change for the better. Policy makers should also have adequate data to improve on implementation.
