Open education resources are resources which are freely available and have a special "creative commons" copyright licence which allow them to be copied, adapted and republished.

Henderson this was an eye opener for me too. Understanding the what is meant by the acronym "OER" and the pyramid table in the order in which someone can access this type of resources.
