Activity 4.4 Key resoures

The section which I read was KEY RESOURCE 5: USING QUESTIONS TO PROMOTE THINKING.

This is because good questions help learners to learn, learn more. I might use question which are of higher order level and open to give my learners think beyond the textbooks. At the same time the questions would be used to check the learners' understanding of the context.

Key resources

Henderson, this Key resource, Using questioning to promote thinking also appealed to me in my reading of the various Key resources  mainly because i belive  it is one of the most commonly used one in class setttings.. i like it because in addition to what you have noted the use of  proper questioning  techniques can allow the teacher to ascertain the needs of students as well as gather information on the previous knowledge they take to the class that can aid their academic and social development.

Key resource

I agree that questioning do promote thinking and reflection. It can further benefit the stronger and weaker learner on their different levels of thinking and answering questions. It helps thus to be learner centered and to flex the lessons.
