Inclusive Teaching

As I think back on my younger years and even as an adult, I felt excluded during group work because no one is interested in my ideas as a child and an adult. Guess because I am a person I naturally keep to myself. I wasn't popular or ever was apart of a clique. This mostly happened in school and during college. During college I was a foreigner and my classmates I didn't know them really. In my primary days I just wasn't a popular child guess cause my parents struggled to make ends meet.

How do you include such children, who are now the way you were then?

Thank you Aminu for honestly sharing you sad experience in education pursuit. This is a pointer that there could be many children experiencing the same exclusivity. The aim of all educators should be to identify such learners and include them in education so that they fell appreciated  and loved.
