2.3 Where are you on the line?

Well as a recent primary teacher for the past 19 years   I am glad I was more on the right concentrating more on the child.I trie to prepare my lessons to fit the needs of the students.I used learning resources that attract the attention of the learner for example colourful charts, soft dough for their hands to touch, counters for maths, natural resources from outside etc. These helps students to enjoy learning and help them to easily to understand the lesson.Planning ahead is one thing I makesure to do.Giving positive reinforcement gives strength and initiative to students to study hard.Planning and using learning activities where no learner is exclude helps to achieve learning objectives.Being a teacher have to be creative and never rest thinking and researching for what best for the students..

I can’t locate a permanent position in the continuum. I find myself oscillating in between the middle and the right end. The nature of the content and availability of the teaching resources influences a lot the oscillations. I also believe that There is more for the learners when working towards the right.
