Hi Maxwell,

I think your government has taken a step in the right direction in prioritizing education for all children.

Hello, Maxwell thank you for sharing your countries policies on education and like my country the policy on education for you is an education for all. Training teachers and building schools to facilitate students with special needs is certainly a step in the right direction. However, as I read your post I wondered why the children were not attending these schools. Is it that the schools are located a far distance away or is it a social barrier?

Activity 2.1.Education policy

Hi Maxwell,

Thanks for sharing.

It is similar for the government of Trinidad & Tobago to establish policies for inclusive education, as presented in our Vision 2020 Education Plan, yet the impact of these policies are slow in coming especially at our rural based schools. To some extent the School and Support Services Division (SSSD) are felt but not at all schools and sadly so at the Primary level.
