Experience in exclusion

My first  experience of exclusion was in high school. Having come from a village, room mates were using slang language that I was not conversant with. It was difficult for me to associate and engage with them in class or in the hostels.

Issue of language has emerged as one of the major form of exclusion in a classroom and school setup. Joseph what did you do to overcome the exclusion?
