Involving all

I have learnt that use of differentiation could address learning differences even in a challenging large class. Prepare variety of tasks of varied difficult levels; for large class ask pairs to select, make a choice and work on an activity which will allow them to start from where they are in understanding and mastery of the content or skill. With smaller class one could use groups of manageable number such as five.

I will pair up my students in my large classes and provide the class a variety of activities with different levels of difficulty. They will make a choice and then i will use Think- pair - share and ask a few pairs to report to the entire class. I could check on the remaining ones outside class time, if written down.
