Activity 2.4 Attitudes to learners

1.Th ey think that children with special needs have lower capacities and therefore must be taught at a lower level and attempt to evaluate them at a lower level.

2.Some africans think that children with disabilities are like that due to demons,others are as a result of curses,and others believe that that is a result of bad omens

3.The cultural attitude I would like to challenge is the one which says that children with disabilities have lower capacities. This is not true because there so many children with disabilities who perform much better than children without disabilities. Another one I would like to challenge is one which says disabilities is as a  result of bad omen because others are so because of accidents and other environmental or hereditary factors

4.The practical steps I would take is to conduct civic educaction in the communities to eradicate these wrong notions
