Including a visually impaired student in class

Chepo is a blind student in my first year class. He uses braille to take notes. Despite the fact that he is blind he likes sitting next to the front where I use the writing board. His braille makes irritating noise to his classmates who get excluded. I talked to Chepo about the disturbance from the braille machine. I told him that i would keep him at a corner. He did not like it. We need a silent braille but we have not got one yet. We need to include Chepo and the rest of the class. I invite suggestions.

A tricky scenario Florence!

I would suggest, if it is possible,  that Chepo continue siting at the front, use a recording device e.g. a phone to record your teaching; then type on his braille later using the recorded lesson.
