Feeling Excluded

I felt excluded while I was in Junior College.

At Junior College, I wasn't very popular. I was always alone by myself and very quiet. Hence I was always excluded. It was very hard for me to get into groups when it was time to do group work. Everyone had their own "clique" or group of people that they referred to be with, while I didn't. Many times I was invisible to teachers.

What a bad experience Kimesha. The teachers didn't seem to be aware of the  need for each student to feel valued

Feeling invisible is not a great feeling. When starting a new school children often feel the way you felt, but some masks it better than others.   For that reason while  growing up I always befriended the underdogs, those who appeared like you because I always wanted everyone to feel welcome because I too knew how it felt to be new and shy or quiet.
